2026 Season
Swimming lessons will be offered throughout the day from July 6th through July 17th and again for July 27th through August 7th. Please call the Pool at 218-385-3200 beginning June 9th? (to be determined) or stop by to reserve your spot. You will be called the week prior to the date of lessons with specific times. The Legried Community Pool is located on Miller Street in New York Mills. It offers residents and visitors alike, great opportunity for swimming instruction, activities and just plain fun in the sun!
Open Six Days a Week: Pool Hours
Monday through Friday:
- 1 to 5 pm- open swim
- 6 to 6:30 pm-family swim
- 6:30 to 8pm-open swim
Saturday: 1 to 5 pm
Sunday: Closed
Admission & Fees:
- Daily Admission: All Ages- $4.00
- Passes: Preseason Sales @ F&M Bank
- Season Pass for Family - $150.00
- Individual $65.00
Lesson Fees:
- $ 30.00 - per child
- $ 50.00 - 2 children in family
- $ 65.00 - 3 children in family
- $ 75.00 - 4 children in family
- Plus $10.00 for each additional Child in Family
Swimming Lessons: 2026
There will be two sessions of swimming lessons offered this year. All lessons are Red Cross certified:
Session I: July 6th through 17th
Session II: July 27th through August 7th
Private Lessons and H20 Aerobics are also offered.

- Level 1 Introduction to water skills
- Level 2 Fundamental Aquatic Skills
- Level 3 Stroke Development
- Level 4 Stroke Improvement
- Level 5 Stroke Refinement
- Level 6 (4 parts)
- Lifeguard Readiness
- Personal Water Safety
- Fitness Swimmer
- Fundamentals of Diving
Private Lessons:
Fee: $30.00 per 1/2 hour session. Call the pool for available times.
Aqua Aerobics:
Great for low impact workout. Fun for all ages, men or women. Just pay the $4.00 admission fee. Held Wednesday evenings from 8-8:45 p.m. Held upon sufficient demand.
